Memphis Kendo Association and Hokubei Budogu are teaming up to host a special training day in Memphis, featuring Yutaro Matsuura Sensei (Renshi 7-dan, Head Instructor of Koyokai Kendo, Michigan).
Details
Focused workshop with Matsuura Sensei: Seme & Tame.
Instead of a lecture, this session is hands-on: engage directly, ask questions, and receive individual feedback on building pressure (seme) and maintaining composure/timing (tame).
Godo-keiko to follow.
After the workshop, we’ll rotate partners to maximize jigeiko so everyone has the chance to fence broadly.
